Puget Sound volleyball returns home to host George Fox, Willamette

TACOMA, Washington –
The Puget Sound volleyball team makes its return to Memorial Fieldhouse Friday and Saturday (Oct. 8-9) to host George Fox and Willamette.
 
Bumps in the road
The Loggers return home after four consecutive road matches. Puget Sound posted a 1-3 record during that road stretch, but it enters this weekend with a record of 9-6 (3-3 NWC).
 
Happy at home
The Loggers have a 5-2 record in Memorial Fieldhouse this season, including a 2-0 mark in conference home matches.
 
Jordan's double-doubles

Between kills and assists, senior Jordan Holman has six double-doubles this season. Her last double-double was in a win at Whitman, when she finished with 13 kills and 12 digs (Oct. 2). Holman leads the Loggers in both kills (143) and digs (162).
 
All in on Allemann
Sophomore Avery Allemann has three matches with double-digit kills, and lately she has been earning more tries. In Puget Sound's last two matches, Allemann has 64 total attempts.
 
Put it away now
Katherine Carley's .337 attack percentage leads the Loggers, and she ranks second on the team for kills (126).
 
Scouting George Fox (7-5, 2-4 NWC)
The Bruins enter this weekend with three losses in their last four outings. During that stretch, George Fox outlasted Pacific in five sets. Kassandra Staton is the team-leader in kills (141), and Bailey LeBreton has a team-high 40 blocks.
 
Scouting Willamette (5-6, 2-4 NWC)
The Bearcats have lost four of their last five matches, but they beat George Fox in four sets. Willamette is attacking at a .139 clip, and the offense is led by Natalie Klotz (161 kills). Lexi Martin has a team-best 22 blocks.
