TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound volleyball team wraps up its 2021 season in Oregon with matches at George Fox (Nov. 5) and Willamette (Nov. 6) this weekend.

A sweep for the seniors
The Loggers won their home finale against Whitman, 3-0, on Senior Night (Oct. 30). Before the start of the match, Puget Sound celebrated its eight graduating student-athletes:Â

Katherine Carley ranks third in the Northwest Conference for attack percentage (.323), and she is sixth in blocks (60).

Puget Sound's ace
Jordan Holman ranks third in the NWC for kills (228), and she leads all NWC players in service aces with 48. Holman is also the team leader in digs (224).

Olsson's house
Sophomore
Sara Olsson had the best match of her young career against Whitman (Oct. 30). She totaled a career-high 10 kills while hitting .421.

Magic number .210
Puget Sound is 13-0 when it posts an attack percentage higher than .210. The Loggers came up with a season-best .368 attack percentage in the home finale against Whitman.

Scouting George Fox (11-8, 7-7 NWC)
The Bruins have won three of their last four competitions, including back-to-back wins against Pacific and Willamette. George Fox lost to Puget Sound in five sets earlier this season (Oct. 8). Kassandra Staton has a team-high 232 kills, and Kennedy Kibby leads the way in assists with 452. Bailey LeBreton has a team-high 66 blocks.

Scouting Willamette (8-11, 5-9 NWC)
The Bearcats recently snapped a four-match losing streak by sweeping Lewis & Clark (Oct. 30). The Loggers blanked the Bearcats in straight sets earlier this season (Oct. 9). Dani Queja leads the Bearcats in kills with 198, and Emma Porter's 600 assists ranks second in the NWC. Still, Willamette is attacking at just a .129 mark this season.
