Box Score WALLA WALLA, Washington – Longtime Puget Sound volleyball head coach Mark Massey earned his 400th career victory with the Loggers when his squad beat Whitman, 3-1, on the road Friday night.
Massey has been the Loggers' head coach since 1996, and he has a .617 winning percentage with the Maroon & White.
In Massey's milestone win, Jordan Holman, Alli Reviglio, and Tannis Norton each put away eight kills. Aliah Ayau totaled 14 assists, and Sarah Blumenfeld added 13.
The Loggers totaled five blocks to the Blues' one. The effort at the net helped limit Whitman to a .094 attack percentage.
After capturing its first win of the season, Puget Sound aims to keep momentum for one more match at Whitman Saturday, Feb. 20, at 6 p.m.
