Box Score TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound women's soccer team remained undefeated by beating Whitman, 2-0, in Baker Stadium Sunday.
Before kickoff, the Loggers (4-0, 4-0 NWC) celebrated their four seniors: Jasmine Chapman, Allison MacMillan, Maiya Pacleb, and Emily Ross.
Ava Cholakian scored her first goal of the season in the 16th minute. She received a pass from Genny Jilka down the middle of the field, and then beat the Whitman (0-2, 0-2 NWC) keeper to the right side.
The Loggers added an insurance goal in the 47th minute. Quincy Bento took advantage of a Whitman miscue in its backfield. Bento quickly found Radhika Webster Schultz, who buried her second goal in as many teams.
For the second consecutive game, Chaylea Tome did not need to make a save in a shutout.
Puget next hosts Pacific Lutheran, Feb. 26-27, in Baker Stadium.
