Loggers lose to Lutes, 1-0, on late second-half goal

TACOMA, Washington – The rivals were scoreless for nearly 80 minutes, but the Puget Sound women's soccer team lost to Pacific Lutheran, 1-0, in Baker Stadium Saturday afternoon. It's the Loggers' first loss of the season.

The Lutes scored in the 79th minute off of a rebound.

Chaylea Tome made four saves for Puget Sound – her most in a single game this season.

Earlier this season Puget Sound beat Pacific Lutheran twice in Parkland, both by 1-0 scores.

The Loggers and Lutes conclude their season series Sunday, Feb. 28, at 11 a.m.
