SPOKANE, Washington – The Puget Sound women's soccer team lost a heartbreaker, 2-1, in overtime at Whitworth Saturday.

The Pirates claimed a 1-0 lead in the 25^th minute, but just two minutes later Maiya Pacleb netted the equalizer off an assist from Kiana Serrao.

Both teams went scoreless for nearly 70 minutes, but Whitworth netted the game-winner early in overtime.

Chaylea Tome made four saves for the Loggers, matching her season-high.

 The Loggers and Pirates compete once more Sunday, March 7, at 11:30 a.m.
