Box Score SPOKANE, Washington – The Puget Sound women's soccer team lost a heartbreaker, 2-1, in overtime at Whitworth Saturday.
The Pirates claimed a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute, but just two minutes later Maiya Pacleb netted the equalizer off an assist from Kiana Serrao.
Both teams went scoreless for nearly 70 minutes, but Whitworth netted the game-winner early in overtime.
Chaylea Tome made four saves for the Loggers, matching her season-high.
The Loggers and Pirates compete once more Sunday, March 7, at 11:30 a.m.
