Box Score SPOKANE, Washington – Maiya Pacleb scored for the second time in as many games, and Ava Cholakian netted her third goal of the season, but the Puget Sound women's soccer team lost at Whitworth, 3-2, Sunday.
The Pirates struck first for a 1-0 lead, but Pacleb scored her second goal of the weekend – and third of the season – off an assist from Cholakian in the 28th minute.
Whitworth still managed to take a 2-1 lead into halftime.
In the 54th minute, Cholakian scored off an assist from Pacleb. The Pirates netted the game-winner in the 68th minute.
The Loggers next compete at Whitman, March 13-14.
