Conference season begins in Oregon for men's soccer

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's soccer team begins its Northwest Conference schedule in Oregon where the Loggers take on Pacific (Sept. 18) and George Fox (Sept. 19). Both games kickoff at 2:30 p.m.
 
Back in Babiak
Marko Babiak enters the weekend as Puget Sound's leading scorer with three goals in four games. He hasn't been shy about finding opportunities – Babiak has attempted a team-high 14 shots.
 
The Hall way
Sophomore Graham Hall scored his first-career in the season-opening over Multnomah (Sept. 1), and he scored again against Northwest (Sept. 8).
 
The man upfront
Forward Ryan Smith pesters opposing back lines, and it has led to two goals so far this season. He scored in each of the first two games of the season.
 
Scouting Pacific (3-2, 0-0 NWC)
The Boxers share a common opponent with Puget Sound in Multnomah. Pacific beat the Lions twice this season, both times by three goals. Noah Edwards has a team-high seven points (two goals, three assists), while Cooper Sheakley and Lucas Muller both have two goals entering this weekend. Keeper Zachary Aderinto has a 1.68 GAA.
 
Scouting George Fox (2-2, 0-0 NWC)
The Bruins enter the weekend with consecutive 1-0 losses against La Verne and UC Santa Cruz. The Bruins take on Pacific Lutheran the day before hosting the Loggers. Kyle Revell leads the team in scoring with two goals, and Alex Muir is allowing one goal per 90 minutes.
