TACOMA, Washington – With the Northwest Conference's top-three leaders in scoring and rebounding, the Puget Sound men's basketball team hits the road for games at George Fox (Jan. 28) and Linfield (Jan. 29) this weekend. Both games tipoff at 8 p.m.

Paul Johnson is averaging 19.1 points per game, which ranks third in the NWC.
Cal Hansen's 8.1 rebounds per game rank second in the conference. The sharp-shooting Johnson is hitting 46.2-percent of his 3-point attempts – the second-best mark in the NWC. Hansen's 55.2 field-goal percentage is the fourth in the NWC, as he averages 14.2 points per game.

Cal joins the 1K club
Cal Hansen reached 1,000 points for his career in last week's home game against Pacific Lutheran (Jan. 18). The Seattle native is third Logger in the past four years to net 1,000 points with the Maroon & White.

Mussie Teclemariam rank top-10 in the NWC for rebounding. Erickson averages 5.8 boards, and Teclemariam averages 6.6.

Freshman point guard averages 3.4 assists per game, which ranks sixth in the NWC. He dropedd eight dimes against Portland Bible (Jan. 4), and had six assists against Pacific Lutheran (76-65).

Scouting George Fox (9-8, 4-4 NWC)
The Bruins have lost three of their last four games, the most recent of which was a 67-66 heartbreaker at Pacific Lutheran (Jan. 25). George Fox averages the second-fewest rebounds (34.2) in the NWC. Zac Schmerber averages a team-high 14.0 points per game, while Momo Stokes (11.3) and Davon Walker (10.4) both average double-digits in scoring. The Bruins lost at Puget Sound earlier this season, 67-62 (Dec. 4).

Scouting Linfield (11-5, 6-2 NWC)
The Wildcats have won four of their last six games, including a 112-69 stomping at Willamette (Jan. 21). The Wildcats commit the fewest turnovers per game (12.2) in the NWC, but they rank among the bottom three teams for rebounds per game (35.3). Dempsey Roggenbuck is the conference's second-leading scorer (20.3), and Max Lommen (14.8) ranks in the top 10 for scoring. Linfield won at Puget Sound, 69-67, earlier this season (Dec. 3).
