NEWBERG, Oregon – The No. 17 Puget Sound women's basketball team was upended at George Fox, 72-49, Friday night.

The Loggers (14-3, 7-2 NWC) scored less than 50 points for the first time this season. George Fox (7-9, 3-4 NWC) held Puget Sound to 29.4-percent shooting from the floor.

The Loggers' shooting woes extended to the free-throw line, where they shot 15-for-28 (53.6-percent). In the previous two games combined, Puget Sound shot 36-for-40 (90.0-percent) from the line.

Paige Gerhart was the only Logger to score in double figures against the Bruins. She totaled 12 points by shooting 4-for-8 from the field, including a make on her only 3-point attempt.
