Logger football loses at No. 7 Linfield

Box Score McMINNVILLE, Oregon – The Puget Sound football team lost at No. 7 Linfield, 72-2, Saturday afternoon.
 
Senior defensive lineman Ezekiel Sayavong accounted for the Loggers' only points when he came up with a strip-sack in Linfield's end zone. The Wildcats recovered the fumble for the safety and two points to the Loggers. It was Sayavong's second sack of the season, and his third tackle for a loss.
 
Freshman wideout Joe Gallagher finished with nine catches against the nationally-ranked Wildcats.
 
Puget Sound's Homecoming game is Saturday, Oct. 8, against Pacific. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
