McMINNVILLE, Oregon – Ava Cholakian's 14^th goal of the season secured one point in the Northwest Conference standings for the Puget Sound women's soccer team as the Loggers reached a 1-1 draw at Linfield Friday evening.
 
The Wildcats claimed a 1-0 lead less than one minute into the game, and they carried that lead into halftime.
 
Seventeen minutes into the second half, Puget Sound drew a foul at the top of the 18-yard box. That's where Cholakian lined up for a free kick and buried the equalizer.
 
The Loggers fired nine shots on goal through 90 minutes, five of which were by Cholakian. Puget Sound's defense held Linfield to four shots on goal.
 
The Loggers stay in Oregon for a game at George Fox Sunday, Oct. 16.
