Sudden drought
The Loggers scored at least one goal in each of their first 12 games of the season, but Puget Sound has been limited to just two goals in its last four games. The Loggers suffered shutout losses to Pacific Lutheran, Whitworth, and Whitman during that stretch.

Ryan Saunders has a conference-leading 82 saves this season, and he leads the NWC in save percentage (.804). He has played every minute of this season.

Down in Oregon, the Loggers lost to Willamette, 2-1, earlier this season (Sept. 17), and then tied Linfield, 1-1, the following day.

Scouting Willamette (12-1-2, 10-1 NWC)
The first-place Bearcats are led by Pierce Gallaway, who has a conference-best 11 goals this season. Gallaway also has five assists. Defensively, Willamette is allowing the fewest goals per game (1.00) in the NWC. The Bearcats' lone loss this season was against Whitman, 3-1 (Oct. 15).

Scouting Linfield (5-10-1, 4-6-1 NWC)
The Wildcats enter this weekend with five losses in their last six games. Sid Kosaris leads the team in scoring with six goals. Linfield averages less than one goal per game (0.73), and it is allowing nearly two goals per game (1.91). Henry Boudreaux has played every minute in goal, and he holds a .696 save-percentage.
