TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound volleyball team hosts its final regular-season games of the season when Willamette and Linfield visit Memorial Fieldhouse, Oct. 28-29.

Senior farewell
Before the start of Saturday's match against Linfield, Puget Sound will celebrate its two seniors:
Chloe Akiona-Bannan and
Jena Williams. Both seniors have played in 19 of the Loggers' 20 matches this season.

Crowded at the top
Puget Sound is in a four-way for first place in the Northwest Conference. Whitworth, George Fox, Willamette, and the Loggers are all 8-4 in conference matches.

Career-best weekend
Sara Olsson was named the Logger of the Week after she posted a career-high 23 kills against George Fox last week (Oct. 21). She followed up that performance with 18 kills against Pacific (Oct. 22). Olsson leads the Loggers in kills per set with a 2.86 average.

No better help
Logan Winn leads the NWC in assists with 687. She had a career-high 51 assists against George Fox in Memorial Fieldhouse last week (Oct. 21).

Blocks all day
Avery Allemann has 83 this season, which leads Puget Sound and ranks second in the NWC. Allemann also leads the team in hitting percentage (.267) and kills (190).

Scouting Willamette (9-9, 8-4 NWC)
The Bearcats' two most recent contests were five-set wins over Whitman and Whitworth (Oct. 21-22). Willamette is attacking at just a .107 clip, but Olivia Cadien ranks third in the NWC for kills with 243. Kaitlyn Westby has a team-high 56 blocks.

Scouting Linfield (8-12, 4-9 NWC)
The Wildcats enter this weekend with three consecutive losses, each coming against Pacific Lutheran, George Fox, and Pacific. Linfield has a .137 attack percentage, and it is allowing opponents to hit .184. Raelynn Hammock has a team-high 268 kills, and Aylea Dixon has 589 assists. Ellie Mead leads defensive efforts with 71.0 blocks.
