TACOMA, Washington – A couple of seniors scored on Senior Day as the Puget Sound women's soccer team beat Whitman, 2-1, in Baker Stadium Sunday afternoon.
 
It was the last collegiate home game for Puget Sound's 13 seniors: Quincy Bento, Tess Carden, Ava Cholakian, Kalina Cordero, Meghan Jones, Genny Jilka Maskarinec, Layla Santos, Allison Schacher, Kiana Serrao, Kelli Siemens, Misha Tasaka, Chaylea Tome, and Radhika Webster Schultz.
 
The Loggers got on the board in the first minute of the game when Sienna Kloss took a free kick from in front of Whitman's bench. Her service found Jilka Maskarinec in the box, and the senior headed in her third goal of the season.
 
The Blues tied the game just two minutes later, but Puget Sound's leading scorer provided the game-winning goal in the 25^th minute. Cholakian received the ball just atop of the 18-yard box, shielded a defender from the ball, turn, and fired a shot into the back of the net for her 15^th goal of the season.
 
On the other side of the field, Tome made six saves in the winning effort.
 
The Loggers' regular season concludes at Willamette and Pacific, Nov. 5-6.
