Box Score PORTLAND, Oregon – Kennedy Brown scored a career-high 26 points to lead the Puget Sound women's basketball team to a 75-55 season-opening win at Warner Pacific Friday night.
 
Brown shot 8-for-14 from 3-point range, and 9-for-17 overall from the floor. She tied Annie Pettigrew (1989-90) and Cassidy Daugherty (2017-18) for the school record for most 3-pointers made in a game.
 
Paige Gerhart scored 16 points in the win, and Grace Pytynia-Hillier added 10.
 
The Loggers shot 16-for-40 from 3-point range, exceeding their single-game highs for makes and attempts compared to last year. Puget Sound also dominated on the boards, 36-20.
 
The Loggers remain in Portland to take on Multnomah Saturday, Nov. 12, at 3 p.m.
