PORTLAND, Oregon – The Loggers are Northwest Conference champions!
 
The Puget Sound volleyball team swept Lewis & Clark Saturday night to earn a share of the 2022 NWC title (Whitworth). The Loggers earn the automatic qualifier by holding the tiebreaker over the Pirates (head-to-head sets won).
 
Puget Sound wins its first NWC title since 2000.
 
Sara Olsson had Maddie Klopcic both had 11 kills in the championship-clinching match, and Avery Allemann added 10 kills. Klopcic and Allemann had five blocks, each.
 
The NCAA selection show is Monday morning (Nov. 7).
