TACOMA, Washington – Four Loggers scored in double figures as the Puget Sound men's basketball team beat Millsaps, 81-67, in Memorial Fieldhouse Saturday afternoon.

Liam Ruttledge scored a game-high 20 points, and
Mussie Teclemariam scored 16 points.
Grant Erickson and
Will Pohland scored 15 points and 10 points, respectively.

Erickson led all players in rebounding with seven, and Pohland dished out a season-high six assists.

The Loggers raced out to a 20-6 lead through the game's first nine minutes. Ruttledge hit three 3- pointers during that span.

The Loggers took a 45-34 lead into halftime.

The Majors cut their deficit to single digits, 76-67, with four minutes left in regulation, but a 3-pointer by Ruttledge shifted momentum back to Puget Sound's favor.

The Loggers return home Dec. 28 to host Gustavus Adolphus.
