PARKLAND, Washington – Samantha Swartout pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds as the No. 24 Puget Sound women's basketball team thumped Pacific Lutheran, 83-50, Tuesday night.

Swartout beat her previous career-high in rebounding by one. She had 14 rebounds in a game against Howard Payne, Dec. 2019.

The Eatonville, Washington native also had seven points and four assists Tuesday night.

Kennedy Brown scored a game-high 17 points for the Loggers (19-4, 12-3 NWC), while
Jordyn Reverman (12 points, nine rebounds), and
Isabella Reed (11 points) both scored in double figures off the bench.

Katie Minnehan nearly pulled off an improbable double-double by totaling nine points and nine steals. She added four assists and six rebounds.

The Loggers dominated on the glass, 49-21, while forcing the Lutes (6-16, 3-12 NWC) into 30 turnovers.

Puget Sound's final game of the regular season is at Pacific Saturday, Feb. 19. On the line in the regular-season finale is the right to host a first-round game in the Northwest Conference Tournament.
