Conference landscape
No. 4/6 Whitman (14-0 NWC) clinched the No. 1 seed for the NWC Tournament. The Loggers (12-3 NWC) enter the weekend in second place, and Pacific (11-3 NWC) is in third. The Boxers take on Willamette Friday (Feb. 18) before hosting Puget Sound. George Fox (7-7 NWC) has the inside track for the fourth and final seed, but Lewis & Clark (6-8 NWC) and Willamette (6-8 NWC) are still in the hunt. The top two seeds host the first round of the NWC Tournament, Feb. 24.

The Loggers have the highest scoring offense in the NWC, averaging 72.3 points per game.

Puget Sound averages 13.7 steals per game. It is the only team NWC averaging double digits in steals.

Katie Minnehan recorded nine steals in the Loggers' 80-53 at Pacific Lutheran (Feb. 15). She leads the NWC in steals by averaging 3.6 per game.

Samantha Swartout pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds in the Loggers' win at Pacific Lutheran (Feb. 15). Her previous career-high was 14 against Howard Payne (Dec. 2019). Swartout ranks fifth in the NWC for rebounding (6.2).

Turn to Paige
Paige Gerhart ranks fourth in the NWC for assists, averaging 3.6 per game. She had a career-high eight assists in a win at Whitworth earlier this season.

Scouting Pacific (17-6, 11-3)
The Boxers enter the weekend with four consecutive wins. They lost at Puget Sound, 78-66, four weeks ago (Jan. 21). Camy Aguinaldo is the conference's leading scorer with 19.5 points per game. Brilie Kovaloff averages 16.3 points, which ranks third in the NWC. While the Loggers force the most turnovers in the NWC, the Boxers commit the fewest turnovers (12.4).
