Loggers ready for non-conference games in Oregon

TACOMA, Washington – After a 3-1 start to its Northwest Conference schedule, the Puget Sound lacrosse team has its first non-conference games of the season against Augsburg (March 18) and Corban (March 19). Linfield is hosting the game against Augsburg.
 
About the opponents
Augsburg is an NCAA D-III member out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Competing in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), the Auggies are 0-4 overall this season. Corban is an NAIA member out of Salem, Oregon. Corban holds a 2-1 record entering this weekend.
 
On point
Puget Sound's .571 shot-percentage leads the NWC. Emily LaRiviere has a team-high .706 shot—percentage, and Lauren Mastin closely follows with a .700 mark.
 
All clear
The Loggers are successful in 75-percent of their attempts, which is tops in the NWC.
 
Lam-borghini
Milan Lam has kicked it into gear with eight goals in her last two games. She leads the team in scoring with 13 goals on the season. Emily LaRiviere is close behind with 12. 
 
Hoist the Mast
Lauren Mastin – who is usually setting up her teammates – scored five goals in the Loggers' win at Whitman (March 13). She has a team-high five assists this season, which ranks in the conference's top 10.
 
Building a Bridge
Beatrice Bridge is proving to be one of the most dynamic players in the conference. She leads the Loggers in draw controls (13), caused turnovers (9), ground balls (11), and ranks third in scoring (9).
