Himeda collects four hits, drives in two runs at PLU

Box Score PARKLAND, Washington – Shane Himeda had a four-hit day, but the Puget Sound baseball team lost at Pacific Lutheran, 6-2, Sunday afternoon.

Himeda was a perfect 4-for-4 while batting No. 2 in the lineup, and he drove in both of Puget Sound's runs. In the third inning, Jackson Bolitho singled, stole second, and came in to score on a base hit by Himeda.

Once again, Bolitho set the table for Himeda in the eighth inning. Bolitho singled up the middle and moved into scoring position on a wild pitch. He scored Puget Sound's second run when Himeda singled to centerfield.

The Loggers travel to California next week, March 25-27, where they will play against Claremont-M-S and Carleton.
