Loggers return to California for games against CMS, Carleton

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound baseball team takes a break from its Northwest Conference schedule – and a break from the northwest – when it travels to California for games against Claremont-M-S and Carleton, March 25-27. CMS is hosting all three games.

Touch 'em all
Puget Sound clobbered five home runs at Pacific Lutheran last week (March 19-20), marking the most home runs by the Loggers in a three-game series this season. Shane Himeda, Jacob Ota, Jonas Kim, Clayton Waltz, and Jackson Bolitho each launched a long ball against the Lutes.

Have some Shane, will ya

No way out
Batting at the top of the order, Kyle Strash and Shane Himeda continue to reach base at a remarkable rate. Himeda's .529 on-base ranks second in the NWC, and Strash's .520 mark ranks third.

Pick up Jacks
Jackson Bolitho hit his first-career home run against George Fox (March 13), and the following week he hit a bomb at Pacific Lutheran (March 19). Through his last four games, Bolitho is hitting 5-for-12 with two home runs, four RBI, and six runs scored.
