TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound softball team celebrates its five seniors during the 2022 home finale Friday, April 15. The doubleheader against Pacific Lutheran begins at 12 p.m. The following day (April 16) the Loggers and Lutes play two in Parkland, Washington.

Hana DeGuzman's collegiate career began as the Loggers' leading hitter her freshman season. Through her four years, DeGuzman has a .291 career batting average.

Maddy Garcia has pitched 189.2 innings in her Puget Sound career – the most by any Logger during that stretch.

Kelsie Sullivan is approaching her 200
th career at-bat and 100
th inning pitched. She currently has 199 at-bats and 97.0 innings to her name.

Abbi Wong has made 104 starts in her Puget Sound career, a vast majority of which have been behind the plate.

In 2021
Hailee Ueyama was named to the All-NWC Second Team. She hit .394 overall, and posted a .402 average against conference opponents. She suffered a season-ending injury in the second week of March this season.

Scouting Pacific Lutheran (24-12, 16-8 NWC)
The Lutes enter this weekend with five consecutive wins. One of those wins was an upset against nationally-ranked Linfield. The other four wins were against Pacific. Erin McGrath has a team-high 11 home runs, while Sarah Potwin and Casey Wright have both hit five long balls this season. Mari Foster is hitting a team-high .397, and she has 13 stolen bases.
