TACOMA, Washington – The 2022 home finale awaits the Puget Sound lacrosse team as the Loggers host Whitworth (April 16) and Whitman (April 17). Both games start at 1 p.m. in Baker Stadium.
Â
Winning ways
With a 6-4 overall record, the Loggers need just two more victories to clinch a winning season. Since 2016, the Loggers have just one season with a record above .500. Puget Sound went 8-7 in 2019 (the Loggers went 2-1 in the shortened 2020 year). Following this weekend, the Loggers play at Pacific (April 23) and Willamette (April 24).
Â
Clearly improved
A key to Puget Sound's success in 2022 has been its ability to move and pass the ball up the field. The Loggers lead the Northwest Conference in total clears with 198.
