TACOMA, Washington – They're on to Spain.
 
The Puget Sound men's basketball team departs SeaTac Monday, Aug. 8. A majority of the 2021-22 squad is making the trip. In addition to competing against local club teams in Madrid and Barcelona, the Loggers are scheduled for several tours.
 
Puget Sound arrives in Madrid the morning of Aug. 9. After some free time in the city, the team will get settled in, have dinner, and practice.
 
The following day includes a formal tour of Madrid, followed by the first game of the trip. The tour includes the Royal Palace and Las Ventas Bullring.
 
Aug. 11 the Loggers tour Toledo, and then compete in the second game of the trip. Puget Sound then hops a high-speed train to Barcelona Aug. 12. The first day in Barcelona is expected to be relaxing at local beaches.
 
Game No. 3 is Aug. 13. A 'free day' is scheduled for Aug. 14, followed by more tours Aug. 15. The Loggers begin the trek back to Tacoma Aug. 16.
