SALEM, Oregon – Avery Allemann had seven blocks and nine kills, but the Puget Sound volleyball team lost at Willamette, 3-1 (25-23, 8-25, 25-22, 25-18), Friday night.

One week after amassing a career-high 13 blocks at Pacific last week, Allemann pushed her team-leading total to 50 blocks Friday.
Maddie Klopcic also came away with nine kills against the Bearcats.

Puget Sound held Willamette to a low .091 attack percentage.

The Loggers dominated the second set, 25-8. Chloe Akionna-Bannan served Puget Sound to a 10-0 lead. The final point of the run was a service ace.

In the third set, however, Willamette had a 4-3 lead when it went on an 8-0 run to reclaim momentum.
