La GRANDE, Oregon – Lincoln Schell scored the game-winning goal in the 72
nd minute to give the Puget Sound men's soccer team a 2-1 win at Eastern Oregon Friday afternoon. Puget Sound is unbeaten through the first five games of the season (4-0-1).
Stuart Methner assisted on Schell's game-winner. It was Schell's first goal of the season, and Methner's second assist.
The Loggers entered halftime in a 1-0 hole, but
Pema Globus tied it up with his first goal of the season in the 61
st minute.
Luke Sloan assisted on the score.
Ryan Saunders earned the win in goal, tallying a season-high five saves.
The Loggers remain on the road to take on College of Idaho Sunday, Sept. 11, at 1 p.m.
