TACOMA, Washington – Grant Erickson scored a game-high 17 points as the Puget Sound men's basketball team dismantled Linfield, 80-60, in Memorial Fieldhouse Friday night. It was the Loggers' fourth win by at least 20 points this season.
Erickson was also one of three Loggers to pull down seven rebounds in the win (
Mussie Teclemariam,
Dezman Baker).
Taj Phillips scored 16 points, pulled down six boards, and dished out six assists. Teclemariam added 15 points.
The Loggers never trailed against Linfield, and the score was never tied following the game's first basket. Puget Sound's lead peaked at 25 points, 80-55, when
Dezman Baker scored in the paint.
The Loggers host Pacific Saturday, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m.
