Scouting Linfield (4-5, 2-1 NWC)
The Wildcats began their conference schedule with a series win against George Fox (Feb. 18-19). The Wildcats have the worst ERA in the NWC (8.06). Offensively, their five steals also rank last in the conference, but the team's .297 batting average is in the middle of the pack. Jake Hoskins is the team's leading hitter (.421). He and Nick Holm have a couple of home runs this season. Despite the team's poor ERA, Casey Struckmeier has a 2.00 ERA in three appearances (one start, 9.0 IP).
