Seven seniors ready for final collegiate lacrosse games

Box Score TACOMA, Washington – Seven Puget Sound women's lacrosse seniors prepare for their final collegiate games when the Loggers host Linfield and Pacific, April 15-16, in Baker Stadium.
 
Lucky number seven
Prior to the start of Sunday's game, Puget Sound celebrates its senior members and their loved ones: Olivia Almy, Maddie Hider, Milan Lam, Emily LaRiviere, Ava Olsen, Flannery Simchuck, Abby Stranahan.
 
One of the greats
Emily LaRiviere is up to 86 goals and 25 assists for her Puget Sound career. In program history she ranks ninth all-time in scoring, and she is seventh all-time in total points. LaRiviere as a good chance of cracking the top-five for all-time points leaders.
 
Finishing strong
Emily LaRiviere and Cat Schilli both matched their season-high in scoring last week. Schilli scored six goals against Whitworth (April 7), and two days later LaRiviere scored four goals against Whitman (April 9).
 
Maya makes the most
Maya Sheklow totaled six goals and two assists between three games last week. She is up to 14 goals and five assists in her junior season.
 
Hider's cause
Maddie Hider is causing 1.75 turnovers per game, which ranks fifth in the Northwest Conference.
 
Ground game
Cat Schilli is scooping up 3.00 ground balls per game, which is tied for fifth in the conference. She also ranks seventh in goals per game (3.00).
 
Scouting Linfield (3-10, 3-8 NWC)
The Wildcats recently snapped a five-game losing streak with a 12-11 win over Pacific (April 12). Linfield allows the second-most goals per game (14.7), and it scores the second-fewest goals per game (8.2). Gabby Crist is the team's leading scorer with 40 goals and nine assists. Linfield edged past Puget Sound, 13-10, in McMinnville earlier this season (March 11).
 
Scouting Pacific (5-11, 1-10 NWC)
The Boxers enter this weekend with three consecutive losses. The Loggers got the best of them, 10-7, in Forest Grove earlier this season (March 12). Pacific averages just 7.0 goals per game, which ranks last in the NWC. However, four Boxers have 20+ goals this season: Hyland Culland-Musengo (26), Mia White (23), Sarah Pokorny (20), Devyn Davis (20).
