TACOMA, Washington (26 November 2024) - The University of Puget Sound has eight student-athletes who have earned All-Northwest Conference honors, including standout WR
Joe Gallagher, who ended the season with the most receptions per game across all of Division III.
Gallagher was the sole Logger receiving placement on the All-NWC First Team, and OL
Josiah Jordan was named to the Second Team alongside quarterback
Mason Binning who earned an At-Large bid. The Loggers had a large presence on the Honorable Mention squad, with RB
Henry Hernandez, TE
Tommy Milton, OL
Daniel Wani, and K/P
Thomas Goeglein were all named to the Honorable Mention Offense.
Binning finished the year atop the Puget Sound record books with the most total career completions, with 663 (2021-2024). Hernandez recorded a total of 795 yards across the ten games this season, with nearly one touchdown per game.
Tommy Milton averaged a first down every time he received the ball, with an average 11.67 yards per completion, also securing 3 touchdowns to aid the Loggers' offense. Both Wani and Jordan were incredible on the Logger's offensive line, seeing that Binning were able to evade defenses, opening holes for Hernandez, and wreaking havoc on defensive schemes with their brute physicality. Goeglein, in his first year with the Loggers, landed seven of his 31 punts inside the 20-yard line, and averaged a 38.35 yard punting average. DB
Tyler Evars was the sole Defensive Honorable Mention for Puget Sound, finishing his year with a total of 28 tackles, one interception, and six PBUs.
