TACOMA, Wash. – The Puget Sound men's basketball team concluded the regular season with an overall record of 13-12 and 9-7 in Northwest Conference play, tying with Pacific University and Willamette University which granted them an invite to the Northwest Conference Championships as a No. 4 seed. The Loggers will take on the No. 1 seed, Whitworth University, on Friday, February 23, at 8 p.m. in Spokane.

Similarly, the women's team will head to Willamette University after finishing the season 11-5 in NWC and 17-8 overall, granting them an invite to the Northwest Conference Championships as a No. 4 seed. The women's team has qualified for the Championships for the third consecutive year, while the men's team is set to make their second consecutive appearance.
Game 1 of both the men's and women's basketball semifinals will take place Friday, February 23 at 6 p.m. between the Whitman Blues and the Pacific Boxers at their respective championship locations. The championship match will be contested at 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 24; the semifinal winners will compete for the tournament title and receive the Northwest Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
