SALEM, Ore. — Davis Franklin scored another homerun, but the Puget Sound Baseball team still fell to Willamette University on Sunday afternoon.
The Bearcats started the scoring in the second inning following a sacrifice fly to score in one. In the fourth inning, the Bearcats homered to score three more, then another homerun was scored by Willamette.
The Loggers battled, but the balls just weren't landing in their favor. Willamette scored two more in the sixth and seventh inning. Then in the ninth inning, Franklin scored another homerun to complete a homer in each game of the series, and had one run on two hits plus one RBI in the loss.
The Loggers will face George Fox University, on March 23 and 24, at Logger Field.
