TACOMA, Washington (September 21, 2024) - Logger Volleyball has had yet another confident appearance against a conference opponent, this time the Linfield Wildcats.

Fresh off of a 3-1 win last night against the Willamette Bearcats, Head Coach Mark Massey is continuing to lean on freshman sensation Maddie Badger to lead the team in blocks. Heading into this weekend, Badger was ranked third in the nation in blocking, and was one of a number of Loggers ranked either nationally or across the Northwest Conference.

Puget Sound actually began the first set down 5-1, but quickly learned from their mistakes and were able to lock in, ending the set with a score of 25-17. The second set showed the Loggers pulling further ahead with a 25-15 finish. Linfield began to capitalize on both solid services and Logger mistakes to make it a close race, but ultimately lost the third set 26-24.

Logger Volleyball will be taking on the Pacific Lutheran Lutes in Lakewood, Washington, this Tuesday, September 24th at 7:00pm.
