TACOMA, Washington (September 22, 2024) - Not even the efforts of standout forward Jackson Smith could put the Loggers (2-2-1, 1-0-1 NWC) over the top as they battled Willamette (1-3-3, 1-0-2 NWC) today on Peyton Field in Baker Stadium.

The Bearcats were able to get twice as many shots off as the Loggers, logging a total of eight and four by the final whistle, respectfully. It was a largely uneventful game, albeit with a fair number of fouls from each team - 12 from Puget Sound and 13 from Willamette.

Men's soccer next plays in just a few days, this Wednesday in Lakewood against PLU at 4:00pm.
