PORTLAND, Oregon (September 29 2024) - Puget Sound (3-2-2, 2-0-2 NWC) started off strong, with Pema Globus scoring off a free kick in the 16th minute. Shortly after, Globus and Connor Barnes assisted Shane Ivich's first goal of the season to bring the Loggers up 2-0. The Loggers kept knocking and took 13 shots compared to the Pioneers' five.

With a total of 30 fouls called, the referees handed out eight yellow cards in the second half to try to maintain control of the chippy game and a single red to the Pios. The Loggers advance to 2-0-2 in conference play (3-2-2 overall) after winning 2-0 on the road against Lewis & Clark.

The men are on the road again playing at Pacific University on Oct 5, and George Fox University on Oct 6. They'll return home on Oct 12 to take on Whitworth at 12pm.
