TACOMA, Wash. — In a game that featured six lead changes and came down to the wire, George Fox outlasted Puget Sound 94-92 on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Fieldhouse.

Momo Stokes led George Fox (12-13, 8-8 NWC) with 25 points on an efficient 8-of-12 shooting, including a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc. Jake Bishop added 17 points, knocking down five three-pointers, while Noah Marte provided a spark off the bench with 14 points.

Puget Sound (13-12, 8-8 NWC) was paced by a trio of standout performances. Taj Phillips and Hugo Rutherfurd each poured in 22 points, with Rutherfurd dominating the boards with nine rebounds. Zane Miller contributed a double-double, posting 21 points and 13 rebounds.

George Fox shot 51.5% from the field and capitalized on fast-break opportunities, scoring 25 points in transition. Despite Puget Sound winning the rebounding battle 42-29 and dominating the paint with 48 points, the Loggers struggled from deep in the second half, going 0-for-8 from three-point range after hitting seven in the first half.

Puget Sound had a chance to force overtime, but Phillips' last-second full-court attempt missed, sealing the victory for George Fox in the final game of the season.
