FOREST GROVE, Ore. -- The Loggers battle hard, but ultimately drop their game to the Pacific Boxers, 47-34.
How it Happened
The game started on a high note for the Loggers, as they got the ball and marched straight down the field.

Drake Granberry III as teh Loggers found themselves almost immediately in Boxer territory. Another pass down to
Billy Hutton put the Loggers at the Pacific 15, but the Boxers were able to hold the Loggers on third down. A missed field goal later gave the ball back to the Boxers, who took the ensuing drive down for a touchdown.
Back at it again, Beck found Hutton a for a pair of passes to get the Loggers back down the field.
Kasey Williams got involved as well, catching an 11-yard pass to get the Logs in the red zone. Despite another missed field goal, the Loggers still had a ton of momentum on offense. The Boxers drove down again to make it 14-0, but The Loggers weren't out of it yet.
On the next possession, the Loggers drove down the field, this time punching it into the end zone. On a trick play, Williams found
Josiah James for a 19-yard score, connecting for the Loggers' first score of the day. The defense held steady on the next drive, getting a red-zone stop to hold the Boxers to a field goal.
Beck started to heat up on the next drive, going a perfect 8-8 down the field. He connected with
Josiah James for an 11-yard pass, Hutton for a six, and Williams for another six to put the Loggers at the Boxers' 32-yard line. The defense started out strong to begin the second half, forcing a missed field goal, and then intercepting a Boxer pass on their second outing of the afternoon.
Dylan Ott jumped a pass for his second straight game with an interception, giving the Loggers the ball just outside of the red zone. After getting down to the two-yard line,
De'Andre Dukes Jr. punched the ball in on the ground to make it a 21-27 ballgame.
Pacific responded with a trio of touchdowns, as the Loggers couldn't quite find the groove offensively that they had in the first half. Down 27-21, they put up a fight in the fourth quarter, launching a comeback. Beck found Granberry III for a 28-yard score, bringing it back to 47-27.
