TACOMA, Wash. - - Two Loggers from the softball team earned a place on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team this year, showing out both on the field and in the classroom.

The CSC recognizes scholar-athletes who are of sophomore standing or higher who carry a 3.5 GPA, and also play in 75% of games throughout the year.

Psychology and Education major, Olivia Boures played third base for the Loggers, she came through with a season-high five assists and three RBIs in a  game against Whitworth.

Exercise Science major, Alison Madia provided key depth as a pitcher for Puget Sound during the season, highlighted by a four-strikeout performance against Warner Pacific.

Now in the off-season, the Loggers are looking to build momentum going into the fall, where they will grind to get better ahead of the spring season.
