TACOMA, Wash. -- The Puget Sound Women's Soccer team has earned a spot in the United Soccer Coaches DIII National poll, coming in at No. 25 in the national rankings. 

After an undefeated start to their season, the Loggers have been putting on quite a performance. They started with a six-point weekend on their trip to Walla Walla, Wash., winning both of their neutral-site games against La Verne and The College of Idaho. After taking down the Leopards 3-2 on September 5th, they stormed back from down 1-0 against the No. 6-ranked Yotes on September 6th to earn a 3-1 victory. This win gained the Loggers national attention, as the Yotes are still ranked in the top-10 in the NAIA. 

Puget Sound returned home for two more highly contested matches against Azusa Pacific University and Wheaton College on Sept. 10th and 12th. Last year, Azusa Pacific went to the NCAA DII Sweet 16, making the jump to DIII during the off season. The Loggers held steady, earning a 2-2 draw against a stellar APU squad. Wheaton made it to the semifinal of the CCIW Women's Soccer Championship in 2025, but the Loggers handled business on Sept. 12th with a 1-0 victory. 

The Loggers are back in action at home this weekend, hosting George Fox on Sept. 19th and Pacific on Sept. 20th. Both games are on Peyton Field, and are scheduled to begin at 2:45 pm.
