TACOMA, Wash. - - Logger women's soccer put on a show on Saturday, flying past George Fox 4-0 at Baker Stadium.

How it Happened

Puget Sound set the tone early, keeping constant pressure in the Bruins' half. The breakthrough came from Anya Dubois. She found space inside the box and buried her first goal of the day for the Loggers to take the lead 1-0.

Puget Sound kept their foot on the pedal, holding the Bruins without a single shot through the entire match The Loggers doubled the lead right before the break, forcing a George Fox own goal to take the 2-0 lead heading into the half.

Dubois struck again in the second half. Slotted through near the box, she finished cleanly to record a brace and make it 3-0. She turned into a playmaker less than two minutes late. Dubois set up Maya George, who netted her first goal of the season. 
Gianna Maldonado and Stella Grigoryan shared the game, 45 minutes each between the posts and claimed a clean sheet for the day. 

"I was extremely proud of our team effort today. We showed relentlessness in our attack and focus in our team defending to get the clean sheet. We had three players score their first goals of the season, which is really exciting for our momentum going into conference play," said head coach Stephanie Cox.
