Jud Keim

Coach Jud Keim arrives at Puget Sound after one season at Lewis & Clark, and previously two decades across Tacoma at Logger rival Pacific Lutheran University. With more than 30 years of coaching experience, Keim started his career at Bothell HS, then Kamiak HS, then moving to Division II Minnesota State Mankato from 1994-1995. In 1996, Keim shifted to coach the DB position group and then became the Defensive Coordinator at Cal Lutheran University from 1996-2000. Then, Keim recorded four more years of coaching at Gustavus Adolphus University in Minnesota from 2000-2003 as the Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers Coach.
  
Before the 2004 season, Keim returned to Pacific Lutheran, his alma mater, spending 20 seasons with the Lutes. He helped carry the Lutes to the NCAA DIII Tournament in 2012 and 2013, and the Lutes finished in the top half of the Northwest Conference in 14 of his 20 seasons at Pacific Lutheran. 
 
Keim was a four-year letter winner in both football and track & field and was twice awarded All-Conference honors as a running back. The Lutes made it to the NAIA National Championship Game in 1983 and 1985, his sophomore and senior seasons. Keim earned his undergraduate degree from PLU and then his graduate degree from MN State-Mankato.
