Ashley (Doyle) Eddolls enters her third season as head coach of the University of Puget Sound women’s lacrosse team in 2025, bringing a proven track record as a recruiter and a dynamic coaching background to the Northwest Conference (NWC). Since her appointment in July 2023, Eddolls has revitalized the Logger program, emphasizing academic excellence, athletic development, and a culture of resilience. In 2024 & 2025, she has continued to build a solid foundation for success in future years.

Eddolls’ recruiting acumen, honed across multiple NCAA Division III institutions, has been a cornerstone of her success. Before Puget Sound, she served as an assistant coach at Methodist University (2021-23), where the Monarchs achieved a 22-14 record and secured 10 All-USA South Athletic Conference honors. At Methodist, Eddolls spearheaded recruiting efforts, bringing in high-caliber student-athletes who elevated the program’s competitiveness. As a graduate assistant at Messiah University (2019-21), she focused on recruiting and goalkeeper development, helping the Falcons maintain their status as a national powerhouse. Her ability to identify and develop talent, combined with her strategic vision, was praised by Puget Sound Director of Athletics Amy Hackett, who called Eddolls a “rising coaching talent” with a clear plan for program growth.

A decorated student-athlete at Rhodes College, Eddolls was a three-time All-Southern Athletic Association midfielder and earned three All-Region honors from the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaching Association (IWLCA). Her on-field experience informs her coaching philosophy, which prioritizes player empowerment and tactical innovation. Eddolls’ diverse background also includes coaching club teams, where she refined her ability to connect with athletes and foster team cohesion. Her recruiting strategy at Puget Sound leverages the university’s academic prestige and vibrant community, attracting student-athletes who excel in both the classroom and on the field.

Off the field, Eddolls is a dedicated mentor, fostering a program culture that aligns with Puget Sound’s liberal arts mission. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College and a Master’s degree from Messiah University, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning.

Eddolls resides in Tacoma, where she is an active member of the Logger athletics community, collaborating with coaches to strengthen the department’s recruiting efforts.
