University of Puget Sound

Before her time as a coach, Seifert was a notable performer on the University of the Pacific volleyball team. During her five year career, she was awarded a full NCAA Division I scholarship as a setter and played outside hitter as well. Seifert was honored for her work on the court with multiple recognitions: All-Big West First Team (2001), All-Big West Honorable Mention (2002). She made an appearance alongside her University of the Pacific teammates in the Final Four as well, in 2001.
