SALEM, Ore. – The University of Puget Sound men's
soccer team stayed on the winning track with a 2-0 win over
Willamette on Saturday. Ryan Rash and Colin McIntosh scored for the
Loggers (8-3-5, 5-2-3).
Neither team put up many shots as the Loggers outshot the
Bearcats 6-5 in the match. Chris McDonald made three saves for the
Loggers to earn the shutout.
Rash put the Loggers on top with a goal in the 13th minute.
McIntosh scored for the second consecutive match in the 55th minute
to pad the Logger lead to 2-0. Both goals were unassisted for
the Loggers.
The Loggers will travel to Linfield tomorrow for a match at
2:30 p.m.
