Loggers Snap Skid With 3-0 Win At Linfield

MCMINNIVILLE, Ore. – For the second time this season the Puget Sound men's soccer team defeated Linfield 3-0. The Loggers improve to 7-6-0 with the win and 6-4-0 in the Northwest Conference.

Neither team had many opportunities on goal, just 12 combined. The Loggers had five shots on goal and got three to go in the back of the net.

Andrew White scored the game-winner in the 18th minute off of a corner kick by Terence Blackburn.

White then helped Landon Gauthier assist the second goal in the 65th minute. Sam Naatz scored right in front of the goal into the corner.

The final Logger goal came in the 84th minute as Nicholas Campanelli scored on the second Gauthier assist. He headed it in off of a corner kick.

The Loggers will face Willamette on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
