Box Score TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound football team fell to No. 11 Linfield, 73-10, on the Loggers' last home game of the 2014 season on Saturday afternoon.

The Loggers (3-5, 2-4 NWC) also recognized offensive coordinator Jeff Halstead, who coached his last home football game after 14 years with the program. Halstead begins his tenure as the Loggers' head baseball coach this spring.
Puget Sound trailed the Wildcats (7-1, 5-1 NWC) at halftime, 52-0, but the Loggers got on the board late in the third quarter when Foley hit Steve Branham for a three-yard touchdown completion.
Sawyer Petre's 43-yard field goal midway through the fourth quarter marked his second-longest of the season. Petre hit a 47-yard field goal at George Fox on Oct. 18.
On the defensive side of the ball, Chris Beaulaurier's season-best 12 tackles led all players.
The Loggers conclude the 2014 season at Willamette on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m.
