Box Score NEWBERG, Oregon –The Puget Sound men's soccer team sealed a road win against George Fox, 1-0, Sunday afternoon in Newberg.
The Loggers notched the game winner in the 38th minute when Chet Selis netted a cross from Skye Guegan.
George Fox out-shot the Loggers, 5-3, in the first half but failed to find the equalizer.
Puget Sound recorded four more shots in the second half but was unsuccessful in securing another goal, concluding the match, 1-0.
Goalkeeper Robert Jorgensen only had to make two saves to protect the Loggers shutout.
The Loggers face local rival Pacific Lutheran Saturday, Oct. 7, at 2:30 p.m.
