Puget Sound falls in double-overtime, 1-0

PARKLAND, Washington – The Puget Sound men's soccer team suffered a, 1-0, double-overtime loss to cross-town rival Pacific Lutheran Saturday afternoon.

Puget Sound entered overtime headstrong tallying two shots by Luke Murdock and Stefan Jensen, while also giving up zero defensively.

The Lutes found the game winner in the 108t minute when Chris Tussel assisted Bennet Bugbee. Bugbee's goal was his first of the season, and concluded their win, 1-0.

Pacific Lutheran out-shot Puget Sound, 10-8, but Logger goalkeeper Robert Jorgen only had to record four saves to the Lutes five.

The Loggers return home and go head-to-head with George Fox Saturday, Oct. 14, at 12 p.m.
